Its extremely robust blade is equipped with a wire cutter (5mm max cable diameter) and with a wire stripper (1.8mm max cable diameter). The handle includes two screwdriver tips.

The handle is Fibreglass-reinforced polyamide to whithstand shocks and humidity, with two built-in bits: flat screwdriver (4 mm screws) and crosshead screwdriver (3.5 to 5 mm screws), magnetised bit holder.

Safety Ring:  Invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the Virobloc safety ring is fitted to all folding knives from the N° 06. Cut out of stainless steel, the Virobloc has two sections, one fixed and one sliding. In addition to locking the blade open (safety in use), it is now possible to lock the blade closed (safety in transport).
